Bobby was stiff and quite beat-up from his crash-landing on Earth. He'd woken recently to learn that he was on Earth again for the first time in years. Part of him thought that calling his mother was a good idea but if the bad guys started searching for him, it would put her in danger. He hoped his crash didn't make the news.
He limped from his bed and wandered into the main area of the building he was staying in, trying to learn more about who'd taken him in. Moreover, he needed to figure out where the Cube ended up. It was good that the bad guys didn't have it. But letting just any Earthling get ahold of it was not what Dad had in mind when he told him to find it.
"Hello? Anyone there?" he asked, limping into the living room in a t-shirt and pajama pants that he was pretty sure he didn't bring with him.
